Areas of Interest:
Registered Psychologist
I am a registered psychologist with experience working in disability, private practice and community mental health across the lifespan.
In my practice, I draw from a range of therapeutic frameworks and modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion focused therapy and Polyvagal-based Intervention. I have a strong grasp of neuroscientific principles underlying depression, stress and anxiety disorders (including PTSD), which I use to help my clients understand their experience through a biopsychosocial lens and by which my interventions are based upon.
I strive to empower clients to achieve their potential and to facilitate clients in discovering and actualising their goals using a person-centred and non-judgemental approach.
